Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional initiatives that support firm strategy. You will drive program planning, governance, risk management, and executive reporting to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of new processes and technologies across business services and legal professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading complex cross-functional projects or transformational initiatives.
• Experience guiding enterprise-wide initiatives with executive-level reporting.
• PM certification (PMP, Prosci Change Management, Scrum) preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives with the Strategy Delivery Portfolio Analyst and EPMO Leader, establishing governance and executive visibility.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and interdependencies for on-time delivery.
• Facilitate alignment across business leaders, functional teams, and external partners to clarify scope and priorities.
• Drive executive-ready reporting, including status updates, risk summaries, and milestone reviews.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; escalate as needed with mitigations.
• Lead sessions to define roadmaps, coordinate decisions, and maintain momentum across concurrent initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to drive change readiness, adoption planning, and successful implementation of new processes and tools.
• Coach teams on governance, accountability, risk management, and disciplined execution.
