Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives aligned with the firm's strategic objectives. You will drive governance, risk management, program planning, and stage-gate discipline across internal teams and client-facing efforts.

Working proactively and independently, you will develop practical solutions, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver initiatives on time and within scope, with executive reporting and value realization at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex cross-functional projects or transformational initiatives.
• Experience facilitating alignment and decision-making among executive sponsors and senior leaders.
• Experience with enterprise-wide or cross-functional initiatives and executive reporting.
• PMP, Prosci Change Management, Scrum, or related project management certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies and adoption planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives, establish project governance, enable cross-functional execution, and provide leadership visibility into progress and value realization.
• Contribute to development and improvement of EPMO standards, tools, templates, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and interdependencies.
• Facilitate alignment across business leaders, functional teams, subject matter experts, and partners.
• Drive executive-ready reporting and risk summaries, milestones, and action recommendations.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and dependencies; escalate critical concerns with mitigation plans.
• Lead working sessions to define roadmaps and coordinate decisions across multiple initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive change readiness and adoption of new processes and operating models.
• Coach project teams on governance, risk management, and execution practices.
