Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance the firm’s strategic objectives. You will partner with the Strategy Delivery Portfolio Analyst and the EPMO Leader to establish governance, manage risks, and deliver programs on time and within scope across internal and client-facing implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders and executive reporting.
• PM certifications (PMP, Prosci Change Management, Scrum) preferred but not required.
• Experience with organizational change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to drive adoption of new processes in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives, establish project governance, enable cross-functional execution, and provide leadership visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and value realization.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, critical paths, and interdependencies.
• Facilitate alignment across leaders, functional teams, SMEs, and external partners on scope and priorities.
• Deliver executive-ready reporting, including status updates, risk summaries, and milestone reviews.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Define implementation roadmaps, coordinate decisions, remove barriers, and maintain momentum across concurrent initiatives.
• Drive change readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, and successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Coach teams on governance, accountability, and disciplined project execution.
