Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting the firm’s strategic objectives. This role may be remote or located at any firm location, with responsibilities spanning governance, risk management, and executive reporting to ensure on-time delivery and value realization across internal and client-facing implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years leading complex cross-functional projects or transformational initiatives.
Experience coordinating enterprise-wide initiatives with executive reporting.
PMI/Prosci/Scrum certifications preferred but not required.
Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive adoption of new processes.
Excellent planning, governance, reporting, and risk management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives with governance and cross-functional execution.
Provide leadership visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and value realization.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and interdependencies.
Facilitate alignment across exec sponsors, senior leaders, and stakeholders.
Produce executive-ready status updates, risk summaries, and milestone reviews.
Identify risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies; escalate with mitigation plans.
Lead sessions to define roadmaps, decisions, and removal of barriers.
Drive change readiness, adoption planning, and successful implementation of new processes.
Coach teams on governance, accountability, and disciplined execution.
Assist with ongoing process improvements and governance standards.
