Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites applications for a Senior Presales Systems Engineer. This role is designated as Remote/Teleworker, with primary work from home, serving customers across the United States and California markets.

You will leverage deep networking and security expertise to design and present solutions, coordinate with sales and partners, and influence customer decisions through technical demonstrations and proofs of concept. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in engineering or CS.
• Extensive WAN, data center, security, and cloud design experience.
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and large-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation for design and implementation.
• Collaborate with sales and partners to tailor optimal solutions.
• Respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI with viable proposals.
• Develop architecture designs and BOMs for next‑gen networks.
• Deliver training and support to partners and customers.
