Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Aruba Networking unit is seeking a Senior Presales Systems Engineer for the Federal Civilian Agency sector. You will guide engineering teams, shape end-to-end designs, and translate customer needs into practical, scalable architectures across campus, branch, WAN, and security domains.

You will travel to client sites and partner with account teams to drive opportunities, delivering compelling technical proposals and proofs of concept that illustrate the value of HPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Significant pre-sales systems engineering or solution consulting experience.
• Strong campus/branch networking expertise across wired, wireless, WAN, and security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior pre-sales technical advisor for Federal Civilian Agency customers, with emphasis on campus, branch, WAN, security, and access control architectures.
• Partner with Account Managers to qualify and advance opportunities from discovery through close.
• Lead customer discovery and translate requirements into solution architectures and roadmaps.
