Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to oversee preconstruction activities and the seamless handoff to project operations. You will coordinate subcontracts, suppliers, and engineers, manage risk templates, and mentor a team across multiple locations.

Location can be remote with travel to office/field sites as needed. The role requires strong leadership, robust knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure bids translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management, Law, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in Preconstruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise preconstruction activities and staff through handoff to operations.
• Provide clear direction to achieve goals and targets.
• Assist in developing the Preconstruction department’s strategy, budget, and business plan.
• Maintain relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and development of top talent within the department.
• Coordinate with legal, commercial services, estimating, procurement, and engineering to align scope and risk.
