Job summary

MasTec Renewables, part of MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction, planning, risk management and the handoff from estimating to project operations. You will coordinate subcontracts, suppliers, vendors, and client negotiations, mentor staff, and drive phased project execution.

Location options include Phoenix, Clinton (IN), Indianapolis (IN), Centennial, Irving, and Fargo, with remote possibilities and travel to field sites as

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in Construction Management, Law, Business or related field.
7+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in Project Management.
2+ years in Preconstruction.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage, and supervise the preconstruction operations team through handoff.
Set targets to help project staff meet goals during preconstruction.
Assist in developing Preconstruction strategy, budget, and business plan.
Establish relationships with clients and internal/external partners.
Help attract, develop, and retain top talent in the department.
Provide regular reporting to Preconstruction leadership and executive team.
