Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for the Texas Region. Based in Texas with remote options, you will lead major power delivery programs, mentor teams, and ensure delivery on schedule, budget, and safety requirements.

You will influence executive stakeholders, coordinate across EPC vendors, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and risk management. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of post‑education experience in construction management or related areas.
• Expert knowledge of construction delivery methods, phasing strategies, and field operations.
• Proven success leading large, complex construction programs in public and private sectors.
• Experience advising on strategic project risks, logistics constraints, and contract compliance.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local permitting and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for power delivery construction programs.
• Interface with client construction management teams and lead project delivery.
• Mentor senior professionals and advance best practices in construction management.
• Ensure work aligns with safety standards, QA/QC plans, and schedule targets.
• Review EPC proposals, cost estimates, scopes, and resource plans.
• Coordinate constructability planning and risk mitigation across multiple sites.
• Lead problem project reviews and drive issue resolution with leadership.
• Communicate project performance and metrics to executives.
