WSP is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to oversee high voltage and EHV substation and transmission line projects, manage budgets, and nurture client relationships. The role supports delivery across the Power & Energy Management Team with regional focus and travel as needed.

You will coordinate with engineers, manage schedules, risks, and quality, and drive profitable project outcomes while supporting business development in the South and Southwest regions.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field within the Power & Energy Market.
• 12 years of relevant post education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
• Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, Construction Contractors, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage and/or extra high voltage substation and/or transmission line type projects.
• Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools required, including Contract Management, External and Internal Team Meeting Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Schedule Management (Primavera P6), Financial Management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage/EHV Substation and Transmission Line projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders, maintain relationships, and report progress.
• Lead pursuit/initiation activities with Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews and risk mitigation.
• Participate in or lead contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and appropriate technical reviews with qualified staff.
• Provide inputs to multi-disciplinary teams and strategic client advice.
• Mentor assigned staff and ensure documentation updates (PMP, QP, PSP, etc.).
• Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate resources and subcontracting needs.
