Job summary

Affirm is hiring a Senior Product Manager on the Terms and Payments team to design both the term and payment selection experiences that drive clarity and conversion at checkout. This role sits at the heart of the purchasing experience for millions of users and requires a strong product sense and user empathy.

The position is highly cross‑functional, working with design, engineering, research, and analytics, and offers opportunities to influence the checkout UX across markets and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong opinions on clear, thoughtful UX.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into opportunities.
• Ability to execute with high-quality, proactive delivery.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, engineering, analytics and research.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Willingness to receive feedback and grow.
• Bonus: checkout, ecommerce or fintech experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience where terms and payments are selected and reviewed to drive conversion and confidence.
• Design and run experiments to improve how users understand and choose terms.
• Define and ship UX patterns using research, data, and collaboration to move from discovery to launch.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements affecting UX.
• Collaborate with international partners to expand terms experiences into new markets.
• Develop deep understanding of user behavior and share insights across the team.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
