Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company reinventing credit with flexible buy-now-pay-later. The Senior Product Manager on the Terms and Payments team will own checkout experiences for terms and payments, driving clarity and conversion.

You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, research, and analytics, run experiments, and partner with Legal and Compliance to navigate regulations while expanding to new markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong sense of taste for user experience and clarity in interactions.
• Analytical rigor with data, experiments, and insights.
• Ability to execute with high agency across teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for stakeholders.
• Coachability and willingness to learn and grow.
• Bonus: checkout, e-commerce, or fintech product experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience for terms and payments, driving conversion and confidence.
• Design and run experiments to improve how users understand and choose terms.
• Define and ship new UX patterns using research, signals, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory impacts on UX.
• Collaborate with international partners to expand terms experiences into new markets.
• Develop user insights and share them broadly to ground decisions.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
