Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Terms and Payments team. You will design term and payment selection experiences to improve checkout clarity and confidence, driving conversion.

The role sits at the intersection of Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Analytics, requiring cross-functional collaboration and strong execution. Ideal candidates have extensive consumer experience at critical product moments, with a track record in checkout, ecommerce, or fintech products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• A strong sense of taste for user experience — you have opinions about what makes an interaction clear and delightful.
• Analytical rigor — comfortable digging into data, interpreting experiment results, and turning inputs into insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience where consumers select and review terms and payments.
• Design and run experiments to improve how consumers understand and choose terms.
• Define and ship new UX patterns using research insights and analytics from discovery to launch.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with international product partners to expand terms experience into new markets.
• Develop a deep understanding of user behavior and share insights broadly.
• Drive a high-impact roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
