Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company redefining how consumers shop with clear, flexible terms at checkout. We seek a Senior Product Manager for the Terms and Payments team to design term and payment selections that drive conversion and confidence.

The role sits at the intersection of Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Analytics, requiring collaboration across teams and markets. Prior checkout/fintech experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• A strong sense of taste for user experience—opinions on what makes an interaction clear, considered, and delightful.
• Analytical rigor—comfortable with data, experiments, and turning inputs into insights.
• World-class execution with high agency and quality.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, analytics, and research.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience where consumers select and review terms and payments, driving conversion and clarity at commitment.
• Design and run experiments to improve how consumers understand and choose their terms.
• Define and ship new UX patterns based on research and analytics, from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements and their impact on UX.
• Collaborate with international product teams to expand terms experiences to new markets.
• Develop deep user insights and share them to keep the team grounded in real checkout experiences.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap, align partners, and own execution end-to-end.
