Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex payroll tax issue resolution across Notices, Corrections, and Amendments. You will own cases end-to-end, acting as a technical lead and SME for the team.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, knowledge transfer, and process improvement to better serve customers. As a key resource, you will coach peers, coach quarterly sessions, and contribute to SOPs and knowledge base improvements while maintaining high productivity in a dynamic

Qualifications

4+ years of payroll tax experience with focus on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
Expert knowledge of State and Federal payroll tax notice types; ability to draft penalty abatement and agency responses.
Hands-on experience preparing and approving amended Federal (Form 941-X, W-2c) and State payroll tax returns across multiple states.

Responsabilités

Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, ownership from intake to closure.
Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns across 10+ states.
Diagnose and resolve payroll tax errors across pay periods and jurisdictions; drive complete correction workflow.
