Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focused on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Hands-on experience preparing and approving amended Federal and State payroll tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices and amendments end-to-end.
• Prepare and file amended returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) across multiple states.
• Diagnose errors across pay periods and jurisdictions to drive complete corrections.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to build team capability in tax defect resolution.
• Draft SOPs and KB articles to standardize resolutions and reduce recurrence.
