The ideal candidate has 4+ years in payroll tax defect resolution, CPP preferred, and strong Excel skills. This is a remote, hourly role with flexible hours and overtime eligibility for qualified candidates.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with focus on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Deep knowledge of federal payroll tax law: FICA, FUTA, FITW.

Aufgaben

• Resolve the most complex State and Federal payroll tax notices in the team's queue, owning the full case lifecycle.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose and resolve payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods or jurisdictions; drive full correction workflow.
• Maintain high productivity case resolution with accuracy.
• Monitor team WIP and drive root-cause analysis.
• Coach Senior Processors and share knowledge to build team capability.
• Contribute to SOPs and KB articles; identify recurring error patterns.
• Identify trends and communicate findings with recommended resolutions.
