Working with SelectTime, this remote, hourly role offers flexible hours (20–40/wk) and potential overtime, focusing on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focused on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Expert knowledge of State and Federal payroll tax notice types and penalty abatement drafting.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (941-X, W-2c) and State payroll tax returns across states.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices and amendments end-to-end.
• Prepare and file amended payroll tax returns across 10+ states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods and jurisdictions.
• Maintain high productivity resolving Corrections, Amendments, and Notices with accuracy.
• Coach and mentor Senior Payroll Tax Processors; share knowledge to build capability.
