Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Planning to lead enterprise-level capacity, investment, and deployment planning across technologies and markets. This role translates demand and strategy into executable multi-year plans while guiding managers and professionals to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations to optimize capital efficiency, governance, and risk management, driving alignment with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Business, Finance, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in network planning, telecom, or infrastructure strategy.
• 3+ years of formal people leadership experience.
• Proven cross-functional portfolio leadership with capital impact.
• Strong knowledge of capacity planning, forecasting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmaps for capacity, modernization, and growth.
• Translate demand, constraints, and strategy into multi-year investment plans.
• Oversee capital planning, forecasting, and variance management.
• Drive data-driven decision making with dashboards and AI tools.
• Represent Network Planning in executive reviews and cross-functional forums.
