Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and experience with PHP/Laravel to help design, develop, and maintain backend services for our mature SaaS platform. This 100% remote position is U.S.-focused and offers a salary band of $100,000 to $140,000 per year.

You’ll also gain exposure to React or Angular and RESTful APIs in a collaborative environment. You'll build RESTful APIs, mentor peers, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience.
Strong experience with .NET (C#) and PHP/Laravel.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with React or Angular.
Cloud experience (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
Build features primarily using .NET (C#) while supporting PHP/Laravel applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
