Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and hands-on PHP/Laravel experience to design, develop, and maintain backend services for our mature SaaS platform. You will build features in .NET while supporting PHP/Laravel applications and RESTful APIs.

Work across both Microsoft stack and PHP technologies, collaborating with Product, QA, and Engineering in an Agile environment. The role is 100% remote in the U.S. with a salary range of $100,000–$140,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with RESTful APIs design and consumption.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build features primarily using .NET (C#) while supporting PHP/Laravel applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
