Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and experience in PHP/Laravel. This fully remote role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for a mature SaaS platform.

You will build features in .NET while supporting PHP/Laravel apps, develop RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software while mentoring junior developers and helping drive engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience developing PHP/Laravel applications.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build new features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
