Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and hands-on PHP/Laravel experience to design, develop, and maintain backend services for our mature SaaS platform.

You will build RESTful APIs, contribute to architecture, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering to deliver new functionality in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#).
• Previous hands-on experience developing applications with PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
• Comfortable working independently in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build new features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
