Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and PHP/Laravel experience for a 100% remote US role. You will design, build, and maintain backend services for a mature SaaS platform and help guide an evolving technology stack.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on development, experience with RESTful APIs, and exposure to React or Angular. You will mentor juniors and collaborate across Product, QA, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#) and PHP/Laravel.
• Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
• Comfortable working independently in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
• Build features using .NET (C#) while supporting PHP/Laravel applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver functionality.
• Review requirements and translate into production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
