Job summary
CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled healthcare delivery technology and drive clinical outcomes. The role focuses on governance, clinician experience, and enterprise strategy across Center Operations and Quality/Stars.
Ideal candidates have senior clinical leadership, Epic expertise, and a track record in safety, quality, and interoperability. The position combines clinical practice with informatics leadership, reporting to the CHIO
Qualifications
- Licensed clinician with MD/DO, NP, or PA in good standing.
- Active involvement in ambulatory clinical practice (~20%).
- Epic Builder training/certification or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical informatics product leadership across domains (Clinic Operations, Quality & Stars).
- Drive enterprise Epic optimization to improve workflows, quality, and patient safety.
- Translate priorities into Epic workflows, decision support, and clinician tools; support upgrades and go-lives.
- Monitor adoption of Epic enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor clinical informatics teams and align roadmap with strategy.
