Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled technology solutions across Center Operations and Quality/Stars. The position combines 0.2 FTE clinical practice with 0.8 FTE Informatics leadership, including governance participation, workflow optimization, and enterprise
Qualifications
- Licensed clinician with strong clinical practice and leadership
- Experience in clinical informatics, safety, quality improvement, or workflow redesign
- Completion or willingness to obtain Epic Builder certification within timeframe
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across Epic-enabled technology domains to advance care pathways
- Lead Epic optimization, upgrades, testing, and deployment with accountability for go-lives
- Translate clinical and business needs into actionable Epic roadmaps and clinician tools
- Mentor clinical informatics teams and partner with senior leaders across the enterprise
