Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Lead to work remotely within the U.S. on projects spanning educational, healthcare, corporate and science/tech sectors.

You will direct complex HVAC systems, provide technical leadership, and mentor designers while coordinating with clients and project leadership. The role requires a US PE license, 8+ years of experience, and strong Revit and energy modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in mechanical design for large-scale buildings.
• Current PE license in the United States is required.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex HVAC design for large buildings; guide the engineering team.
• Mentor designers and oversee performance reviews.
• Coordinate with clients and project team; manage budget alignment.
• Direct QAQC reviews and RFI/change order responses.
• Perform Revit/BIM modeling for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
