Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Senior Manager to drive modernization efforts for DoD/National communications. You will influence policies, build strategic alliances, and guide capture teams across opportunities in NC3, National Leadership Command Capability, and related areas.

Remote work is possible, with preferred proximity to Marlborough, MA; Largo, FL; Washington DC; or El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of experience, or minimum of 7 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with NC3 systems, National Leadership Command Capability, and Senior Leader Communications capabilities.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with the DoD budget process and acquisition requirements process (Preferred)
• Prior work experience with USSTRATCOM, OSD A&S, Service Headquarters (OPNAV/SecNav or HAF/SAF), DISA, or Joint Staff (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, develop, and capture new business initiatives for Strategic Communications, including Nuclear C3, National C3, and adjacent markets.
• Serve as a leader on capture teams during all phases of capture activities, including opportunity identification, qualification, competitive positioning, strategy development, and proposal creation.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to understand their needs and priorities.
• Develop and execute contact plans, including engagements with senior executives.
• Advise the organization on DoD and National Communications concepts of operations (CONOPS), including satellite and terrestrial communications systems.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering teams to develop solutions for complex customer challenges.
• Create pursuit strategies, account strategies, and provide accurate and timely forecasting of orders.
• Travel up to 25-30% to support business development activities and customer engagement
