Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leader in advanced aerospace and defense, is seeking a Senior Manager-level Business Development professional for the Emerging Capabilities team. You will pursue technology development with DoD S&T customers, lead cross-functional teams, and build strategic growth opportunities in constrained environments.

The role requires a university degree (or advanced degree) with 7–10+ years of experience and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree and 10 years of experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience/Knowledge of U.S. military CONOPs related to multi-domain sensing and networking for communications, guidance and navigation systems.
• Experience/Knowledge of DoD acquisitions related to 6.2-6.4 funding, and DDIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop strategies and implement actions that create a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Develop multi-level contact plans for assigned customer segment and establish relationships with internal and external customers.
• Analyze customer information to develop requirements, key performance parameters, and price-to-win.
• Brief compelling strategic and growth opportunities and conduct market/competitive analysis via decision gate reviews.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.
