Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Development, Requirements, and Capabilities within the Modular Open Systems Solutions Encryption domain. This remote US-based role drives opportunity capture, pro-actively engages DoD/government entities, and partners with cross-functional teams to guide strategy and product alignment.

You will lead white paper and proposal efforts, manage capture processes, and travel up to 50% for customer engagements, shaping cryptographic solutions

Qualifications

• Active, transferable Secret security clearance required before start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
• 10+ years experience or 7+ years with advanced degree in related field.
• Experience with secure communications, MOSA, and cryptography.
• Experience with government acquisitions lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and capture new business opportunities within modular open systems encryption.
• Brief senior leaders in U.S. government entities to align goals and opportunities.
• Oversee proposal development and manage the capture lifecycle.
• Negotiate and close opportunities aligned with customer and market needs.
• Contribute input into product development and strategic planning.
• Build relationships with government and non-government customers.
• Evaluate competitors and market positioning.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering to drive growth.
• Travel up to 50% to support BD activities.
