Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leader in intelligent solutions, seeks a Senior Manager, Requirements and Capabilities/Business Development – Strategic Deterrence Communications. You will drive modernization efforts for national DoD comms, advise on CONOPS, and shape partnerships across industry while guiding capture teams.

The role is remote, with proximity to Marlborough, MA; Largo, FL; Washington DC; or El Segundo, CA preferred. You will develop strategies, forecast orders, and engage DoD customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience or 7+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with NC3, National Leadership Command Capability, and senior leader communications.
• RF products, voice/video conferencing, Military Satcom, terrestrial networking.
• Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture new business initiatives for Strategic Communications including NC3.
• Lead capture teams through opportunity qualification, positioning, strategy, and proposals.
• Build customer relationships to understand needs and priorities.
• Develop contact plans with senior executives and DoD stakeholders.
• Advise on DoD/National CONOPS for satellite and terrestrial systems.
• Collaborate with PM and engineering to craft solutions for complex challenges.
• Create pursuit and account strategies with accurate forecasting.
• Travel 25–30% to support business development activities.
