Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Senior Manager-level Business Development professional for the Emerging Capabilities team. The role focuses on pursuing DoD S&T opportunities to enable long-term growth, with emphasis on communications in DDIL environments and system-level integration.

Remote work in the United States is supported. The candidate should understand US DoD acquisition processes and have experience with multi-domain sensing, networking, and waveforms.

Qualifications

• University degree required with extensive relevant experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience/Knowledge of U.S. military CONOPs related to multi-domain sensing and networking for communications, guidance and navigation systems.
• Experience in DoD acquisitions related to 6.2-6.4 funding.
• Experience/Knowledge of communications in DDIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop strategies and implement actions for a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Develop multi-level contact plans for assigned customer segment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Analyze customer information and develop customer requirements and key performance parameters.
• Develop relationships with key customers; inform leadership of needs and competitive landscape.
• Work on problems of multiple scopes and exercise sound judgment to avoid objective failures.
• Develop and brief strategic growth opportunities via market and competitive analysis.
• Create, analyze and articulate innovative solutions leveraging Collins technologies.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.
