Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Sr Manager to lead People Systems and Workforce Insights, shaping the technology roadmap for HR systems, analytics, and employee listening. You will drive governance, security, and data integrity while partnering with senior leaders to align workforce insights with business strategy.

You will lead a team of HR technologists, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure compliant, equitable, and data-driven decisions across the People and Community division.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large cross-functional initiatives.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on HRIS platform expertise: Workday configuration, security, testing, and support.
• HR data governance, reporting, dashboards, audits, and data quality; translating business questions into insights.
• System implementation and enhancement across HR modules and processes.
• Compliance, controls, and security in HR systems.
• Project, program and change management in enterprise contexts.
• Cross-functional partnership with HR, payroll, IT, finance, security, and vendors.
• Core HR knowledge: org structures, compensation, benefits, recruiting, lifecycle events, performance, and talent data.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year division technology strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Lead governance for HR systems configuration, security, data, reporting, and vendor performance.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, renewals, and implementation partners.
• Represent People & Community in enterprise tech, data, AI, and security forums.
• Lead HR systems & analytics team; build capability and equity in development opportunities.
• Own technology intake and prioritization balancing value, risk, and enterprise standards.
• Process owner for internal controls; ensure timely audit evidence.
• Safeguard sensitive employee data and responsible AI decisions.
• Improve platform reliability, delivery, and self-service adoption.
• Shape workforce measures and executive reporting; translate findings for leadership.
• Advance self-service analytics and data literacy for HR partners and leaders.
• Oversee employee listening technology and reporting with confidentiality controls.
• Evaluate predictive analytics with clear validation and human review.
