Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Franchise Recruiting & Engagement to drive advisor engagement across home office and regional initiatives. You will lead onboarding and development of novice AFAs, while managing career paths for key practices in the territory.

The role supports remote work with travel to Ohio, western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh), and West Virginia. Strong leadership, change management, and relationship skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with initiative while collaborating within a team.
• Proven ability to drive change, achieve results, and hold others accountable.
• Strong strategic thinking to translate vision into execution.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Ameriprise field organization, advisor roles, business drivers and processes.
• Ability to support remote and/or multiple office locations.
• Willingness to travel 30–40%.
• FINRA Series 7 license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual Advisor Business Planning to align growth goals with territory resources.
• Create onboarding plans for Novice and Experienced AFAs and External hires.
• Lead recruitment and career path management for Franchise staff and Advisors; manage sourcing, screening, interviews.
• Provide leadership to matrix partners to drive growth; advance diversity and inclusion.
• Translate strategy into actionable initiatives and coach recruiting colleagues.
