Job summary

MVB Financial Corp. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to lead profitability strategy and pricing for our Fintech division.

The role partners with senior leaders, supports pricing decisions, and ensures engagements align with overall strategy. The position sits in Finance and may be remote. The candidate will develop financial models, assess client profitability, and work with executives on pricing and terms for Fintech relationships, with a focus on optimizing

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field.
• 7+ years banking and fintech experience.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Experience in banking economics, including deposit pricing.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and sponsor bank economics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy and pricing methodology.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections for client profitability.
• Prepare pricing for new Fintech clients across fee structures, deposits, earnings credit, and revenue share.
• Lead Finance review during client evaluation and present to Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Collaborate with executive leaders on Fintech strategy and pricing.
• Monitor and improve profitability of the Fintech client portfolio.
