Rocket Software is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer - Senior Consultant to provide technical leadership in mainframe modernization and digital transformation projects for US customers. This role focuses on delivering high-impact solutions with strong customer collaboration.
Candidates should bring deep knowledge of COBOL/PLI, CICS/IMS/JCL, DB2/Oracle and cloud technologies, plus proven experience guiding complex IT initiatives, conducting workshops, and mentoring teams toward successful
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in IT projects.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Experience with mainframe modernization projects and related tooling.
Responsibilities
- Provide services to customers (75%).
- Lead technical solution implementation for projects.
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- Estimate resource requirements and coordinate with PM.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
