Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to manage complex auto and homeowners litigated claims, remotely across the United States.

You will guide defense strategy, negotiate settlements, and oversee outside counsel budgets while balancing defense costs and indemnity exposure. You will handle discovery planning, liaise with defense counsel, and drive favorable resolutions in a remote-first, flexible workplace that emphasizes collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or equivalent.
• High School diploma required.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims and develop discovery plans for first- and third-party auto/home claims.
• Directly communicate with defense counsel to set resolution authority and strategy.
• Review liability, damages, and risk to assess settlements.
• Manage outside counsel budget and monitor defense costs and indemnity exposure.
