Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Senior Litigation Specialist for a remote role based in the United States. You will own complex auto and homeowners litigated claims, directing defense counsel, evaluating settlements, and managing costs and indemnity exposure.

The role requires a law- and risk-aware professional who can negotiate, strategize, and present cases to executive management. Remote-first with travel as needed keeps you connected with enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims. Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex claims, including liability, damages, and exposure to guide strategy.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, set settlement authority, and monitor outside counsel budgets.
• Prepare recommendations for litigated cases for executive review and ensure timely resolutions.
• Travel as needed for in-person mediations, hearings, and team meetings.
