Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to handle complex auto/homeowners litigated claims remotely across the United States.

You will guide defense counsel, assess settlements, set settlement authority, and monitor outside counsel costs to drive fair, timely resolutions while managing indemnity exposure. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management (or equivalent), and strong litigation and negotiation skills with travel ability and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis of claim, including loss facts and applicable factors.
• Creates discovery plan including depositions, retention of experts, IMEs, and accident reconstruction.
• Directs defense counsel with authority for resolution and budgeting considerations.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage and risk for settlements; negotiates with counsel.
