Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is recruiting for a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote). You will own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, directing defense counsel, evaluating settlements, and managing indemnity exposure.

The role requires licensing in applicable states and the ability to travel as needed. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, with prior senior casualty experience.

Qualifications

• Licensing in states as required by role.
• Experience handling senior casualty claims or litigated matters.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex claims including auto/homeowner matters to shape strategy.
• Direct defense counsel and approve resolutions within budgets.
• Coordinate discovery plans, expert retention, and settlement negotiations.
• Present litigation recommendations to management and secure approvals for resolutions.
• Manage outside counsel budgets and monitor defense costs.
