Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to work remotely across the United States, handling complex auto and homeowners litigations. You will guide defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and manage costs while ensuring fair and timely resolutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management and proven claims experience, with senior casualty experience preferred. Travel may be required and flexibility in scheduling is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel, evaluating settlement opportunities and negotiating resolutions.
• Manage discovery plans, including depositions, experts, IMEs and accident reconstruction for first- and third-party claims.
• Authorize and monitor budgets for outside counsel and analyze defense expenses.
• Present litigated case recommendations to local and executive management.
