Job summary

CSAA Insurance Services is seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist to own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, primarily in a remote role. You will direct defense counsel, assess settlement opportunities, and manage indemnity exposure while ensuring timely resolutions and controlled costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, insurance or risk management or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis of claim, including loss facts and applicable factors.
• Directs defense counsel with authority for resolution (settle or trial) and manages costs.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage and risk for settlements.
• Collaborates with defense counsel to shape negotiations and mediations.
• Authorizes and monitors outside counsel budgets and analyzes defense expenses.
• Prepares recommendations for litigated cases for IELT with local and executive management.
• Secures authority for resolution up to highest levels.
