Job summary

Novogradac is seeking an LIHTC Development Consultant to advise affordable housing developers through complex LIHTC transactions from feasibility to closing. You will lead strategy, assist with applications, and support 8609 issuance while mentoring staff.

Ideal candidates have strong LIHTC knowledge, multi-state experience, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with investors, lenders, attorneys, and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Multi-state 9% and 4% LIHTC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of LIHTC program including QAPs and state housing agency processes.
• Ability to analyze risks, assumptions and structuring alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy and feasibility analysis.
• Direct preparation and review of LIHTC applications under QAPs.
• Review sources, uses, and credit calculations; advise on equity pricing.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with developers, lenders, investors, attorneys, and agencies.
• Mentor staff and contribute to knowledge sharing.
