Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a LIHTC Development Consultant to advise affordable housing developers on 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions from feasibility to closing. You will manage client relationships and mentor staff while applying professional judgment with minimal oversight.

You will lead strategy, coordinate applications under QAPs, review financial models, equity pricing, and closings, and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field and 5+ years LIHTC experience.
• CPA, MBA, MRED or JD preferred; multi-state LIHTC experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC programs, QAPs, and state housing agency processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analysis, and capital stack structuring.
• Direct preparation/review of LIHTC applications under QAPs and assist scoring/positioning.
• Review sources/uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas.
• Coordinate with developers, lenders, investors, attorneys, and agencies.
• Mentor staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
