Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Leader, U.S. Trade Compliance Program to support the Country Trade Compliance Officer in managing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program. This role provides strategic oversight of risks, policies, and controls, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with U.S.

import/export regulations. The work model for the role is Remote. The position contributes to the Country Trade Compliance group in the United States and reports to the Country Trade Compliance

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in supply chain and/or trade management with relevant experience.
• Customs Broker license is strongly preferred and regulatory knowledge is essential.
• Certified Import/Export Specialist is preferred but not required.
• Must be a super-user of Microsoft platform tools and SAP/GTS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the CTCO in developing and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program.
• Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with U.S. import/export sanctions and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of trade compliance processes.
• Advise Local Trade Compliance Officers on risks and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor compliance performance via annual reviews and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, engineering, sales and legal teams.
• Lead development of U.S. trade compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Engage with U.S. government agencies as needed and manage inquiries.
