Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Leader to support and guide the U.S. Trade Compliance Program, reporting to the Country Trade Compliance Manager. You will oversee strategy, governance, and execution of compliance across import/export, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional partnership, and continuous improvement within a remote-enabled U.S. team. Strong knowledge of U.S. trade regulations and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in supply chain/trade management preferred with 10+ or 12+ years in U.S. trade Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs, BIS, EAR, OFAC, ITAR regulations.
• Experience leading trade compliance programs and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work remotely within a Country team and multiple business divisions.
• Custody of due diligence and risk assessments across trade activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the CTCO in developing and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program strategy.
• Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with import/export, sanctions, and trade regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of trade compliance processes and risk management.
• Advise Local Trade Compliance Officers on regulatory requirements and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with business functions to embed compliance into operations.
• Lead training and awareness initiatives for U.S. trade compliance.
