Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Professional Services Manager (Implementation) to lead customer onboarding from discovery to go-live, translating business requirements into practical, scalable solutions. This customer-facing role requires moving between strategy, design, and execution while guiding internal teams to successful outcomes.

The position is 100% remote for a candidate based in the United States, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• 5+ years leading complex implementations, professional services engagements, or comparable onboarding programs.
• Experience in discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, scope and risk management, governance, testing, and launch readiness.
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence through data and expertise.
• Ability to translate integrations, APIs, data exchange, configuration, and ATS/HRIS concepts into business implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementations from discovery through go-live across the product portfolio.
• Turn customer requirements into scalable, solution-led implementations and align internal teams.
• Develop implementation plans with clear scope, milestones, owners, risks, decisions, and success metrics.
• Negotiate scope, priorities, timelines, and responsibilities with customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery across Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and Client Success; resolve blockers.
