Maximus is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client in a fully remote capacity. The role requires an active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) and at least 5 years of experience with IBM COBOL, DB2, and related technologies.

Responsibilities include leading software design, coding, testing, documentation updates, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience required.
• Active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) required.
• 4+ years of IBM COBOL programming experience.

Mansioni

• Lead development of software solutions meeting business requirements.
• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot COBOL modules.
• Perform code reviews and unit testing; resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation including FSPs/PRPs and diagrams.
