Maximus is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support the IRS client. This is a FULL TIME, remote position open to candidates nationwide in the United States. Responsibilities include leading COBOL module design, DB2/CICS integration, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation updates.

The role requires 5+ years IBM COBOL experience and an active IRS MBI. Strong communication and mentoring skills are valued as you coordinate with management and peers to deliver reliable, scalable tax

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active IRS MBI required.
• 5+ years of IBM COBOL experience with DB2, CICS, and batch processing.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and high autonomy.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of COBOL modules to meet system specs.
• Review code, perform unit tests, and integrate modules.
• Update FSP/PRP docs and diagrams as needed.
• Provide guidance and training to teammates.
• Support testing and production issue analysis.
