Maximus is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support the IRS client in a fully remote role. The candidate will lead the development of COBOL-based solutions, perform unit tests, code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable tax processing software.

Required are a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of IBM COBOL experience, with DB2, CICS, SQL and JCL. Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-support skills are essential for success in this

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) required.
• At least 4 years of IBM COBOL programming experience.
• Experience with DB2, CICS, SQL, JCL, and batch processing preferred.
